Your Host's Pets.

Zak - Security guard, garbage disposal, nervous dog nurse maid, calf and lamb hygiene police, environmental water analyst and all around good guy!

Kai the sheep, and her kids.

She is very tame, which can make moving her and the rest of the sheep an interesting exercise, as instead of chasing the sheep, they end up chasing you. The solution? Open the gate, give Kai a call and watch as she leads the rest of the sheep through the gateway in an orderly procession.

Cleo.

Jersey nurse cow. Very petable, and scratchable, she is still young enough to be full of the joys of life. Her favorite game is to chase the motorbike, whilst we harrow the paddocks etc.

Meet Lucille the ginger Kune Kune pig. With a face like that she rules the barnyard, and will sit patiently for treats from any passers by. She enjoys a tummy tickle, but will bark like a dog if you push her into anything that is not her idea.

Abbagale was Simone's Birthday present 2008. A black and white Kune Kune, she likes to wallow in a bath of water in the sunshine. She doesn’t do mornings, rarely will you see her willingly up and about before 9am.

Jake knew a good thing when he saw it. At 9 years of age his Mum was leaving NZ for the shores of Australia, and had to leave him behind. Simone and Jake met at a saddlery store in town, Simone pulled in and Jake immediately attempted to climb into the van. However Jake failed to calculate that there might already be a dog at home, and has had to adjust to sharing. Not his preference, but he is a good natured soul.

Tamino also liked the look of things when he stayed at Tolly Farm, so it seemed only sensible that he stay when it became apparent that his rough house play with his sister at home was no longer fun.

Arnie is the latest to join the crew. He is most at home almost immediately, but as you can see Tamino thinks he cramps his style, and his lap space!. Arnie’s cool with it though

Eli is an Irish hunter cross, bred by Simone. He is a real people loving horse, and although he may never amount to much as a riding horse due to a back injury, he is keen to play. His favorite thing to do is to rest his head on your shoulder ad breathe in your ear, which can be disconcerting to the uninitiated.

Samantha is Simones most experienced horse, a Clydesdale cross mare. Another rescue horse who has come along way since saddle fitting issues were sorted, and she is a lovely ride

Chooch, a mountain of a horse at 17 hands, sired by NZs greatest racing Sire Sir Tristram. Sadly Chooch is a rescue horse, though his situation is definately better now he is a part of Tolly Farm. Deeply suspicious about a lot of things, he also has a big heart and tries hard to please.
